The next day Ruby stood next to her mother with their two dogs Lobo and Lucky. She waved good-bye to her father Steve when he got aboard the rocketship with the other astronauts.

Ruby listened to the countdown. Ten, nine, eight, seven... She watched the lift off and kept watching while the rocket went higher and higher into the sky. The two dogs Lucky and Lobo barked and barked while Ruby kept waving goodbye until the rocketship disappeared in the sky and flew into outer space.
