Peeking out from behind a rock, Peepoo the martian watched as the rocketship landed on Mars. The door opened and the astronauts walked out onto the red planet. Peepoo watched with his hundred eyes as the earth people began looking around on his planet. The little martian was frightened by the astronauts so he stayed hidden behind a rock. They were so big and he was so small.

One of the astronauts had a flag. Peepoo watched as the man set up the flag. The earth man hammered a pole into the ground and hung the flag on top. Peepoo was mesmerized by all the bright colors flying in the sky.
