Peepoo decided to stop being afraid. “I am not going to be afraid anymore,” he said out loud. Peepoo started counting. “One, two, three!” Then he jumped out from behind the rocks.

He greeted the astronauts with a friendly growl. Jumping up and down and making lots of whooping and growling noises was Peepoo’s way of being friendly and saying, “Hi, I’m Peepoo!”

All of the astronauts jumped back when they saw Peepoo. They had never seen a martian with a hundred eyes and a thousand sharp teeth. How strange and scary he was to them. Astronaut Steve and all the other astronauts were frightened and ran back into the Rocketship.
